About Our Appraisal Services
Eliott Borris is a Certified General Appraiser and a candidate for designation through the Appraisal Institute. Eliott authors supported, independent, and thorough appraisal reports on most property types. Eliott has experience appraising: multi-unit residential, multi-tenant retail and office, industrial, religious facilities, financial institutions, mini-storage units, bowling alleys, medical centers, and more.
Appraisals may be needed in any of the following scenarios:
Many banks require an appraisal review when a transaction exceeds a certain dollar threshold. Mr. Borris provides appraisal review services. An appraisal review can conclude with the review appraiser’s own opinion of value. In most cases, however, the review appraiser is preparing a technical review, ensuring the work under review complies with USPAP or other applicable standards.
We have developed a 100-point+ review checklist. Our review checklist is the most thorough we know of. You can rest assured that we will uncover any areas of noncompliance.
